Leaving from Cala Biniancolla we will visit the caves of Son Ganxo, the beach of Punta Prima, the corner of Caló Roig, Cala Alcaufar, Cala Rafalet with its spectacular cave and finally we will stop at the Isla del Aire to appreciate its lighthouse together with its hundreds of black lizards, unique in the world, being one of the largest populations of reptiles per square metre.

Caves of Son Ganxo
Just a few minutes from the beach of Punta Prima and in front of the Isla del Aire we find this marvellous cave with a white sandy bottom and shallow depth. You can stand up and enjoy a pleasant swim in its turquoise blue waters.
Punta Prima
This beach is well known for its views of the Isla del Aire and has many services and restaurants. Here we find turquoise sea beds mixed with extensive meadows of posidonia seaweed. This beach is located right in the middle of the marine reserve in the south of Menorca, so snorkelling is a marvel.
Caló Roig
This small cove is located on the camí de cavalls between the beach of Punta Prima and Cala Alcaufar. It is a very quiet and secluded spot with an access to the white sandy sea where you can fit no more than 4 towels. It is a fantastic place to snorkel, see some small caves and enjoy the panoramic views of the Torre de Alcaufar.
Alcaufar
Alcaufar es un poblado de pescadores, de aproximadamente 130 habitantes, que goza de una playa y una cala preciosa protegida por S’Illot des Torn.
Cala Rafalet
One of our favourite spots, as soon as you arrive you can already feel the magic of this place. Surrounded by impressive cliffs and nature in its purest form. Here we find the cave of Cala Rafalet, for us the most impressive cave in the south of Menorca with a unique background and light contrast. We will enjoy a spectacular swim to discover every corner of this magical place.
Isla del Aire
Right in the centre of the marine reserve in the south of Menorca, the most incredible stop is undoubtedly on this island where we will disembark to visit on foot its great lighthouse and the thousands of black lizards that inhabit it. This is one of the places in the world with the most reptiles per square metre! They are not dangerous, on the contrary, they are very friendly and will climb on your hand with a little patience. Both children and adults love this place and will have one of the most unforgettable moments of their holidays.
The lighthouse is the largest in Menorca and has been recently restored. We will have the opportunity to take amazing pictures and enjoy a nice swim with snorkelling in its bay full of fish and life.

A perfect time exploring the coastline with three stops for snorkelling and swimming, as well as a stop at the Isla del Aire to spot the Black Lizards. Alan is a fantastic host; genuine, knowledgeable and friendly. We cannot recommend this enough- well worth the money.

Alan was fantastic from start to finish, very knowledgeable and took us to the most breathtaking secluded areas for us all to try snorkelling for the first time off the back of the boat, our family of four including our two sons aged 15 & 18 were joined by 7 other passengers with ages ranging up to 83 with everyone having a truly magical time, we had a number of opportunities to go swimming which allowed us to embrace the beautiful aspect of the coastline then discover the underwater features of this lovely island, if you get the opportunity to do this with your family or friends then go for it as it will be an experience you will remember long after your holiday is over, we will be back, Thanks Alan
Mcginty422022-08-30Superb experience We have just returned from a 3 hour morning boat trip with Alan at Black Lizard Boat Tours. Our 9 and 12 year old had a blast, as did we. It was unfortunate that we weren't able to get to the island to see the lizards, but we were happy to go with Alan's expertise and experience about the sea being too choppy. We didn't feel that we missed out though as we got to see and swim in quiet bays, snorkel in clear turquoise waters and saw 2 resident falcons. Alan stopped and told us about the villages and beaches on the south east of menorca. The ride back was a thrill thanks to the choppy sea today...but our boys loved it and we felt in capable hands with Alan as our skipper. Booking was easy using WhatsApp and Alan was super responsive after contacting him at 930pm and being booked on the following morning after he advised the weather would be less favourable on the following days. Our 12 year old said it was ine of the best things we've ever done on any holiday and our 9 year old said the pool is now only his second favourite thing about our holiday (and that is a ringing endorsement!).Such a good morning and we would definitely recommend and do it all again if we are ever back in Menorca. 🥰

buntythecow2022-08-10Great boat trip We had an amazing time on a 9.30 am boat trip with Alan. We visited a tiny beach, caves and the black lizards. We were able to snorkel and saw lots of fish. We were able to jump in from the boat and meet the black lizards on the island with the lighthouse. We loved the little touches like drinks when we finished snorkelling on the island. There were 8 of us and Alan accommodated us even though originally he had no space. We used the number on the leaflet and booked using Wats App, this was really easy to do. We were able to walk to the boat from our hotel in Punta Prima which took 20mins. If you want to go on the sunset boat tour I suggest that you book as soon as you arrive or before you get here. I don’t swim but really loved the scenery and enjoyed our visit to Isla Aire to see the black lizards. Great boat, super value. Very easy to book the trip and to find the departure place. This trip is now going to be a new addition to our Menorca holiday routine!!!
